The fact that it takes forever to paint my nails and toenails without messing up or smudging them......And the fact that it takes FOREVER for them to dry enough for me to actually do anything but sit around watching TV and typing at this keyboard (because the second I get too confident about how dry they are, I do something to nick or smudge them )..................are all the reasons I so rarely do my nails. Someday I will have the extra dough to spend on getting someone to do them for me.
On the plus side, all 20 of my nails are now my favorite shade of polish which I'm going to describe as dark carnation pink. So, I've decided that this time it was worth it 'cause I look gooooood.

That's the reason I always use a quick-dry polish, or a quick-dry top coat.
Umm--That sounds like a really pretty color. My favorite is a mauve-pink.

I rarely paint my nails. My fingers look weird when I do. I had someone do my nails once, before my wedding. I almost punched her in the face for hurting my cuticles. She said beauty takes pain. Well, F*** beauty!

So glad to be back to my own bed & shower. Food was plentiful and filling. Country air was crisp and clean. Play was hard and physically challenging. Bruises were expected. Personal time was nil. Laughs were continuous and unexpected.
Now, however, I am on holidays and preparing for my next adventure.

I just finished watching Windy City Live on TV in Chicago. Gerard Butler was a guest. He said that Burns has a new writer and he says he hopes to get the film made in a year or two.
They took 2 questions from two audience members and guess who was one of them.....Miz Moira. Gee, she must have a lot of travel miles.

I guess I could have taken off work and went to Chicago too, seeing it's about a 5 hour drive from here. But I didn't, because I have like a job and responsibilities.
Hell, I'd like to have her paycheck if she can afford to trek all over the world like that. Then again, if I did I wouldn't be spending it on chasing an actor around. But that's just me, I guess.
